Thrush

We had a great weekend and got to see the new baby Killer Whale at SeaWorld. But soon after we got home and on Monday something wasn't quite right. I did some research and discovered that I was starting to battle thrush. Its a common infection when breastfeeding. The hard part is that it is yeast and you are dealing with both mommy and baby infections. I went to the Lactation consultant today to get some help and good news I caught it early and it isn't going to be a big hassle to treat. We also weighed Caleb and he is a whopping 10 lbs 2 oz and ate nearly 4 oz of milk. She did some calculations and discovered caleb has been gaining over an ounce a day since he was born. He is a growing boy already, lucky for us mom is producing more than enough milk to keep up. He sure doesn't look like this anymore.
