Elmo at SeaWorld

So Lydia has a small vocabulary as I had written about before. One of her words is Elmo. I have begun including Seseme Street in our daily routine so i can get things done and she likes watching shows. IN the current Sesame Street format. Elmo has a whole segment, "Elmo's World" in addition to other sketches he might be in. If Lydia is in to a character or show right now its Elmo. At the store she can identify Elmo merchandise on the shelf.

SeaWorld has a show right now for preschoolers with the Sesame Street characters including Elmo. We saw it a few weeks ago with some friends but now that she really talks about Elmo I wanted to take her back. So today we went on one our last mommy and me adventures and went to SeaWorld just the 2 of us. It was nice to go at our own pace. Lydia was more into seeing Elmo on stage and kept saying his name. We stayed afterward and waited in the photo line. Lydia was surprisingly calm and interacted with Elmo and Abby Cadabby when it was our turn.



We also visited the Shark exhibit and Lydia had fun looking in all the aquariums of various fish. She wasn't so sure about the moving sidewalk though. I had to carry her on that part to see the actual sharks.
