One of the things we have missed the most since leaving IL is the friendships and times of fellowship. Circumstances have made it that 2 of our good friends now live with a 2 hour drive and we have seen them twice this summer. We have also had many people come through the area on their vacations and get to share a meal with them. This time however it was a party there were 3 families and we all got to hang out together. We enjoyed the pool where one of the families was staying and had dinner in their condo. It was a wonderful evening.
It was also one of the boy's birthday's so we made a cake for him to celebrate. Anyone who knows the family will understand teh joke on the side of the cake.
